MEDIATOR / ARBITRATOR
Sal has extensive experience in settling both simple and complex cases, including mass tort cases, over his 50+ years of private practice. Through the years he has also served as a settlement judge pro tem and neutral mediator for the courts in Santa Clara County, resolving the vast majority of cases brought before him. Sal’s extensive experience in settling thousands of cases over his career also gives him unique knowledge on what a mediator must do and not do to resolve a case.
His jury trial experience, involving over 200+ trials, uniquely qualifies him to assist parties in accurately evaluating their cases for settlement. He fully understands the usual risk of trial, the extensive costs and potential obstacles that often occur. Sal's considerable experience gives him a greater understanding of settling cases early, before litigation costs run out of control. These are necessary factors to be considered to reach any successful settlement through mediation or arbitration.

A courageous woman's search for the truth, the cause of her blindness, and those responsible---this is a true story about a tenacious young couple who persevered in their fight against Big Pharma hoping to save the lives of thousands of childbearing women.
This is one journey of how product liability litigation can save lives and diminish human misery. It illustrates the tremendous courage and tenacity that is required of the victims, their trial lawyers, and often the judges and juries in the search for the truth.
